Rick Hale is currently the President CEO of HMS Colorado, a managed care company that includes to access PPO Networks (Mountain Medical Affiliates and Sloans Lake Preferred Health Networks) and a health management services division. The company was sold to Aetna in July of 2005. At that point, responsibilities expanded to include PPO networks in Texas , New Mexico and Utah.

Prior to that Rick was Chief Operating Officer of Sloans Lake Managed Care based in Greenwood Village, CO and has been involved in the health care business for his entire career. Rick has been a partner of managed care companies such as Phylink in Denver , Sr. VP for Managed Care for Centura, CEO of Porter & Littleton Hospital (a 437 bed tertiary care system in Denver ) CEO and was in charge of the design and construction of 105 bed acute care Littleton Hospital.

He previously held various entries to mid-level management positions within health care organizations in Atlanta , Georgia and Illinois . He has three children and his wife works in the education department for special needs children in Denver .
